As a traveler from the United States, I had the pleasure of staying at the Old Rectory Chicklade during my recent visit to Wiltshire. the housekeeping was impeccable, and the charming rooms were both spacious and comfortable, making me feel right at home. the full cooked breakfast made with local ingredients was a delightful way to start my day, and the hosts, Tim & Helen, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, making sure all of my needs were met. Their extensive experience in the hospitality industry truly shone through in their attention to detail. One of the main advantages of the Old Rectory is its ideal location for family get-togethers. the setting in its own grounds with beautiful countryside surroundings provided a peaceful and calming atmosphere, despite being close to the A303. the property being close to attractions like Larmer Tree Gardens and Hauser and Wirth Somerset made it a great base for exploring the area. From the warm hospitality of Tim & Helen to the cozy accommodations and delicious breakfast, everything exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this bed & breakfast to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Wiltshire. Thank you for a fantastic experience!
